Guangzhou medical trip planner
Southern China’s medical capital, one hour from Hong Kong
You fly in, you see a doctor, and you go home with a plan. This page is the order to do it in: choose how many days you have, book your own flight and hotel, then add the ground services you want — nothing else needs a travel agent.
Pick your number of days and open that plan.
Book your own flight — see the airports for Guangzhou.
Book a hotel in the district closest to your hospital.
Add airport transfer, interpreter, companion or a package.
Step 1 — choose how long you stay
Every plan below is written around one assumption: day two is your first hospital day, and there is at least one follow-up before you fly home. A consultant visit plus standard blood and imaging usually needs three clear days; a second opinion, or any imaging that is read by a specialist panel, usually needs five.
Guangzhou in 3 days
One consultation, tests, one follow-up. The tightest workable version.
Guangzhou in 4 days
Room for a second specialist opinion or a rest day between scans.
Guangzhou in 5 days
The most common choice: full work-up, follow-up and two recovery-day outings.
Guangzhou in 6 days
Two consultations plus a longer outing, without rushing any single day.
Guangzhou in 7 days
A full week: comprehensive assessment, a treatment start, and real recovery time.
Step 2 — your flight to Guangzhou
You book your own ticket. Guangzhou is served by Guangzhou Baiyun International (CAN). We meet you at arrivals for the transfer you book here.
Step 3 — where to stay
We recommend choosing by district first, then by hotel — being close to your hospital saves more energy than any upgrade.
Yuexiu — the old centre, convenient for several Sun Yat-sen University hospitals
Tianhe — modern towers and malls with the widest hotel choice
Ersha Island — quiet riverside park closest to Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center
Pazhou — newer riverside district with large conference hotels
Step 4 — add the ground services you want
Pick one item or build the whole package. Every service is priced and booked separately, so nothing is hidden inside a bundle you did not choose.
